Rooflights & Atriums Ltd were appointed to undertake the design, supply and installation of the complete external aluminium window and door package for a residential development comprising 16 new-build apartments at Bridgewater Road in Altrincham.

The project involved delivering a comprehensive glazing solution utilising Exlabesa aluminium window and door systems, selected to provide a combination of contemporary architectural aesthetics, thermal efficiency, durability and long-term performance.

Working closely with the main contractor and wider design team, our responsibilities included the detailed design and coordination of the external glazing package, ensuring that window and door configurations, structural interfaces and installation details were fully integrated with the building's architectural requirements.

Particular attention was given to achieving consistent sightlines, high-quality finishes and effective weatherproofing across the development, while ensuring the glazing systems met the functional and performance requirements of modern residential accommodation.

The installation required careful programming and coordination with other trades to facilitate the efficient delivery of the window and door package across all 16 apartments, maintaining consistent quality and workmanship throughout.
