Rooflights & Atriums were appointed to replace an existing leaking rooflight at a residential property on Dean Road, providing a bespoke Lonsdale sloped roof glazing system designed to improve weather resistance while complementing the existing architectural features.

The original rooflight had suffered from persistent water ingress, prompting the need for a reliable, long-term replacement solution.

Bespoke Sloped Roof Glazing

The replacement rooflight incorporated a specialist Lonsdale aluminium roof glazing system, carefully designed to integrate with the existing building and align visually with the sliding glass doors positioned directly beneath.

Particular attention was given to the glazing bar arrangement, frame proportions and junction details to create a consistent architectural appearance between the new sloped glass roof and the existing sliding door system.

The result is a contemporary glazed feature that maximises natural daylight while maintaining a clean, coordinated appearance.
