Shipley College

Rooflights & Atriums were appointed to undertake specialist heritage patent glazing and roof glazing replacement works at Shipley College, West Yorkshire, delivering a sympathetic refurbishment of the glazed structure within the historic college buildings.

The project involved the replacement of existing roof glazing using a traditional patent glazing system, carefully integrating modern glazing technology with the architectural character of the original building.

Working within a sensitive heritage environment, our specialist team delivered a roof glazing solution designed to preserve the building's historic appearance while improving the performance, durability and weather resistance of the glazed structure.

The works demonstrate our expertise in patent glazing replacement, heritage rooflight refurbishment and specialist architectural glazing, particularly on historic buildings, educational establishments and conservation-sensitive projects.

Rooflights & Atriums provide comprehensive patent glazing, roof glazing installation, glazed roof replacement and heritage glazing refurbishment services throughout the UK, working with main contractors, architects and conservation specialists to deliver technically demanding glazing projects.
